Dr.Harka Gurung Discussion Series

CEADS has been regularly conducting "Dr.Harka Gurung Discussion Series" in every 1st and 15th of English month through CEADS Academic Council and the convener of this series is Prof.Dr. Nobel Kishor Rai. Different type of social political and other contemporary issues have been discussing in the series and everybody is free to put their valuable idea in the discussion. The aim of the Discussion Series is to create a forum where independent scholars, civil society leaders and younger generations can express their views on various social and political issues to generate public opinions and bring the major changes in the society.

TV Talk Show "Sanghiya Nepal"
CEADS has been producing the Talk show program "Sanghiya Nepal" and broadcasting through Nepal Television on every Saturday at 10 pm and re-telecast on Tuesday at 3.05 pm. The main objective of this show is to create a discussion on Federalism, social inclusion and public participation to contribute in inclusive democratic Constitution making process.
CEADS Completed Program

Training Package for TOT
CEADS has developed the training package for TOT on ILO convention No.169. After developing the package, CEADS has aimed to produce 250 trainers on the IPs issues.

Central Level Training for Trainee on ILO convention no.169
CEADS has conducted two central level TOT in Kathmandu valley. Fifty IPs activists from different Indigenous people's organizations and students were invited in the five days TOT. The main objective of the course is to enhance capacity of Adivasi janajati communities/IPs, and other stakeholders to implement policies and program relevant to the rights of the indigenous people including convention No.169 through a comprehensive training program.

Regional Level TOT in Udayapur and Sunsari
CEADS has conducted two regional level TOT on ILO convention no.169 in Dharan and Gaighat. There were 65 IPs from different Indigenous Peoples Organization like Kirat Workers Party, Khambuwan Mukti Morcha and Limbuwan Student front were participated in the five days TOT.
